Urmila Matondkar has slammed Kangana Ranaut for her comments comparing Mumbai to PoK and allegedly hijacking the Sushant Singh Rajput controversy for her own personal gains. Urmila ruled the silver screen in the ’90s to early ’00s and she also had a brief political career from which she resigned in September 2019.

In a new series of interviews, Urmila has launched an attack on Kangana. “The entire country is facing the menace of drugs. Does she (Kangana) know Himachal is the origin of drugs? She should start from her own state,” Urmila Matondkar said in a chat with Mumbai Tak. Kangana Ranaut Asks Jaya Bachchan If She Would Side With Bollywood If Daughter Shweta was ‘Drugged and Molested’ as a Teenager and Son Abhishek Was ‘Found Hanging’ (View Tweet).

“Why did this person who has been given Y-security from the taxpayers’ money didn’t give information about the drug nexus to the police?,” she added. Urmila also asked how the Justice for Sushant movement has turned into Justice For Kangana campaign.

In an interview with ABP, Urmila also mimicked Kangana and her videos. She mocked how Kangana’s feud with award shows. Rangeela Completes 25 Years: When Aamir Khan, Urmila Matondkar and Jackie Shroff’s Love Triangle Inspired a Hollywood Film!

In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Urmila has said that the word nepotism is being taken advantage of. “In my life, I paid more attention to doing good work, and not focussed on becoming big so that I can teach people a lesson and pull them down,” Urmila said.

Earlier, Jaya Bachchan had also slammed Kangana Ranaut in the assembly saying people are biting the hands that feed them. Swara Bhasker has also slammed the Queen actress.

Kangana had been a vocal supporter of Justice for Sushant campaign. She said that she’s more afraid of the Mumbai Police than ‘movie mafia’ prompting Shiv Sena to tell her to not come back. To this, Kangana compared Mumbai to PoK. Sanjay Raut called her ‘haramkhor ladki’. Party supporters also issued threats to the actress, who eventually returned to the city with & security issued by the centre. But, before she could set foot on Mumbai soil, BMC had bulldozed her office down citing illegal constructions.

Jared Kushner Reportedly Told States Pleading For Coronavirus Supplies Thats Their Problem

Jared Kushner helped lead the White House response to the novel coronavirus pandemic in March, but when he met with a group of business leaders about how they might be able to help states with the supplies they needed, he reportedly told them that the federal government wasn’t going to get involved.

According to an article from Vanity Fair, the president’s son-in-law and senior adviser gathered together with venture capitalists and Silicon Valley entrepreneurs in the White House to figure out how to supply masks, gloves, and other personal equipment to the areas that needed them.

After Donald Trump declined to invoke the Defense Production Act, which would allow the administration to assist with gathering and distributing supplies, the group convened to help make the case for invoking the act.

But instead of having the sort of meeting they were expecting, attendees were surprised when Kushner began to rail against state leaders.

“The federal government is not going to lead this response… It’s up to the states to figure out what they want to do,” he is said to have advised the business leaders

One attendee said that Kushner attacked New York Governor Andrew Cuomo for not doing enough to get supplies.

“Cuomo didn’t pound the phones hard enough to get PPE for his state… His people are going to suffer and that’s their problem,” the attendee recalled Kushner saying.

One attendee recalled feeling at that point “we’re screwed.”

When one individual reportedly told Kushner that they all wanted to help work together to solve the crisis, but the country’s leaders needed to do their part, Kushner dismissed the pleas.

“Free markets will solve this,” Kushner reportedly said. “That is not the role of government.”

Throughout the meeting, attendees say that Kushner repeatedly and aggressively defended the markets and told those present that they didn’t understand how leading the country worked.

“It felt like Kushner was the president. He sat in the chair and he was clearly making the decisions,” said one person who was present.

“We had so much potential to commandeer against this,” another person added, saying that it would have been possible to implement effective contact tracing and to coordinate a plan of action between states, but that didn’t happen.

The individual added that in hindsight, it almost seemed as if Kushner felt that it was fine to let Cuomo struggle “because [New York] was a blue state.”

Another individual echoed this sentiment, saying that it seemed as though the president’s son-in-law wasn’t interested in coming up with an effective federal response because most of the areas impacted at the time were those that had voted for Hillary Clinton.

The White House denied the report, calling it inaccurate.

It’s not the first time that reports have emerged about the senior advisers allegedly weak response to the pandemic. In July, as The Inquisitr previously reported, he was accused of failing to address the crisis because it was impacting Democratic areas more.
