After WWE fired Rusev, fans were worried about the future of his wife, Lana. Thankfully, Lana did not get the ax. In the following weeks, she developed an alliance with Natalya. The duo soon developed a social media-obsessed gimmick and started feuding with a returning Mickie James.
The quaint tag team faced the Riott Squad on Raw this week. The women’s tag team champions Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler were in the commentary booth. The match was short as Lana took a Riott Kick to the head and was pinned.
After the match, Jax and Baszler attacked the losers. Jax even put Lana through the table.Natalya issues an apology to Lana
After Raw, Natalya tweeted an apology to Lana. Although it was Lana who was pinned, Natalya felt the need to apologize. Natalya said that she was extremely proud of Lana.
I’m so sorry I wasn’t there for you tonight, @LanaWWE. I’m so proud of how hard you are working to show that you belong. YOU are enough. Let’s keep fighting and proving to everyone that we matter. We didn’t come this far to only come this far. #WWERaw pic.twitter.com/fJIrhD35QP

After the match, fans bashed WWE for punishing Lana, after her husband’s AEW debut. Vince Russo blasted Vince McMahon for this assault on Lana. You can read about that here.
Natalya and Lana are yet to gain momentum as a tag team. They are still considered one of the less-valued teams for the tag division. However, they need a few wins to secure their position in the division. The Queen of Hearts and the ‘Ravishing Russian’ will make a good team with proper storylines.
As far as the winners of the match are concerned, Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan will face the Women’s Tag Team Champions Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax at the upcoming Clash of Champions 2020.

Vince McMahon ‘paying WWE stars less money on new contract’ as coronavirus takes financial grip on promotion
VINCE MCMAHON is reportedly offering new WWE stars salaries “way, way below” the figures he was last year.

That led to the billionaire boss McMahon laying off a large number of both in-ring and backstage talents in a huge April staff cut.
Now Fightful Select claims that WWE is not offering new contracts to wrestlers who have recently moved from NXT to Raw or SmackDown.
They have allegedly been told they would enter discussions over new deals and pay soon, but those talks are yet to take place.
Both Matt Riddle and Keith Lee have moved up to the SmackDown and Raw rosters respectively over recent months.
As well as the Covid-19 financial impact, the less chaotic travel schedule has also been cited as a reason for the lower pay.
However, other forms of compensation are also being offered, although they are still not as attractive as before.
The Rey Mysterio situation is a perfect example of this, with the legend working without a contract for several months.

But amid interest from rival promotion AEW, he continued to work on a regular basis on a pay-per-appearance basis.
Mysterio eventually agreed a new multi-year deal in August after his son Dominik made his impressive debut at SummerSlam against Seth Rollins.
WWE are believed to have only dedicated eight per cent of its revenue towards salaries.
This is much lower than UFC fighters, who get approximately 20 per cent, with both being dwarfed by the near 50 per cent paid out in sports such as NBA and NFL.3
