(CNN)Attorney General William Barr expressed frustration with some local and state prosecutors' handling of riot-related crimes, telling top Justice Department prosecutors that he wants them to be aggressive in bringing charges related to protest violence, including exploring using a rarely used sedition law, according to a person familiar with the matter.Since taking office in 2019, Barr has lashed out at a group of left-leaning district attorneys in cities around the country who have sought to change the way they prosecute low-level drug and other crimes. It's a theme that has gained traction in conservative media, which Barr follows closely, and he is known to focus on the issue from time to time.

UFC 253: Who is light heavyweight William Knight?
Who is light heavyweight prospect and DWCS alumni, William Knight?
William Knight will finally get a taste of official UFC action when he makes his Octagon debut on Fight Island as part of the UFC 253 prelims, airing exclusively on ESPN2. Knight’s first opponent will see him go up against undefeated prospect, Aleksa Camur, who enters the bout at 6-0.
Knight’s name may look familiar to hardcore UFC fans, as he had two stints on Dana White’s Contender Series. Knight’s first crack at a contract came in 2018 against Herdem Alacabek, in which he secured a late-third round KO. Despite his best efforts throughout the fight, along with controlling the vast majority of every aspect, he did not earn a contract.
Nearly two years later, Knight got another opportunity to finish what he started. Knight was invited back to the show after picking up two KO/TKO wins in his next three outings. After overcoming early adversity against Cody Brundage in his return to the UFC Apex, Knight turned the fight around and secured a first-round TKO stoppage, rightfully earning him a roster spot that he had waited so long for.
At 8-1, Knight has put together a slew of quick finishes, but the common denominator remains that all eight wins have come by KO/TKO thus far.
Who is William Knight’s first opponent?
Camur enters his second UFC bout also having Dana White’s Contender Series experience under his belt, as he won his debut in January against Justin Ledet by unanimous decision. Camur earned his UFC contract by knocking out Fabio Cherant 48 seconds into the second round via flying knee. In his six wins, three have come inside of the opening frame.Next: 30 little known facts about the UFC UFC 253 takes place on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020, live from UFC Fight Island in Abu Dhabi.
