(CNN)Attorney General William Barr slammed the hundreds of Justice Department prosecutors working beneath him on Tuesday, equating them to preschoolers, in a defense of his own politically tuned decision making in the Trump administration."Name one successful organization or institution where the lowest level employees' decisions are deemed sacrosanct, there aren't. There aren't any letting the most junior members set the agenda," Barr said, speaking at a Constitution Day celebration hosted by Hillsdale College. "It might be a good philosophy for a Montessori preschool, but it is no way to run a federal agency," the attorney general added.

Chris Rock criticizes, Pelosi, Dems on pandemic, compares Trump to five-year-old
Chris Rock in a new interview criticized House Speaker Nancy PelosiNancy PelosiPowell warns failure to reach COVID-19 deal could 'scar and damage' economy Overnight Defense: House to vote on military justice bill spurred by Vanessa Guillén death | Biden courts veterans after Trump's military controversies Intelligence chief says Congress will get some in-person election security briefings MORE (D-Calif.) and Democrats for letting "the pandemic come in" by being distracted with impeachment hearings of President TrumpDonald John TrumpBarr criticizes DOJ in speech declaring all agency power 'is invested in the attorney general' Military leaders asked about using heat ray on protesters outside White House: report Powell warns failure to reach COVID-19 deal could 'scar and damage' economy MORE earlier this year.
The actor and comedian compared Trump to a five-year-old, and said Pelosi should have been more focused on he coronavirus because there was no way that Trump would be.
“It was totally up to Pelosi and the Democrats. Their thing was, ‘We’re going to get him impeached,’ which was never going to happen. You let the pandemic come in. Yes, we can blame Trump, but he’s really the 5-year-old,” Rock told The New York Times in an interview published Thursday.
Rock compared Trump to the main character in "The Last Emperor," a child who becomes the ruler of China.
“Did you ever see that movie The Last Emperor, where like a 5-year-old is the emperor of China? There’s a kid and he’s the king. So I’m like, it’s all the Democrats’ fault. Because you knew that the emperor was 5 years old," Rock said. "And when the emperor’s 5 years old, they only lead in theory. There’s usually an adult who’s like, ‘OK, this is what we’re really going to do.'”
Rock also addressed a blackface controversy involving former fellow "Saturday Night Live" cast member Jimmy Fallon.
"Hey, man, I’m friends with Jimmy. Jimmy’s a great guy. And he didn’t mean anything," Rock said. "A lot of people want to say intention doesn’t matter, but it does. And I don’t think Jimmy Fallon intended to hurt me. And he didn’t."
Rock, 55, is set to portray a 1950s mobster in the upcoming season of "Fargo" on MGM Television.Tags Nancy Pelosi Donald Trump coronavirus covid-19 Impeachment
