This week on Raw, we saw WWE botching a potentially great match. The Raw Women’s Championship match between Asuka and Mickie James saw an abrupt end, as the referee announced that Mickie couldn’t compete anymore, giving no reasonable explanation.

Despite no clear pinfall or submission, the match ended with Asuka retaining her title.

The returning Mickie James was visibly frustrated as there was no other justification from WWE’s side. Fans also outraged on Twitter as they blamed the WWE for burying Mickie yet again.

Mickie James is heartbroken over Raw loss

The former six-time Women’s Champion appeared on this week’s The Bump and let out her frustration. Another Women’s Champion and Hall of Famer, Trish Stratus, also appeared as a guest.

Mickie James praised her opponent Asuka for the match but she believed she got screwed out of her seventh women’s title. She revealed she could not even watch the match out of shame and embarrassment.

“I’m heartbroken. I can’t even watch it, I’m so devastated. I pinned her, I don’t understand. The referee makes the call they feel is correct in that moment. I felt like I was still fighting, I tried to roll back to cover her. She reversed it, but in that moment…I don’t know. I don’t want to say I got screwed, but I may have gotten screwed.”

Even Stratus agreed with Mickie and said she was also confused with the abrupt ending. “I was a little confused with the ending. I thought that was a tap/pin? “

Interestingly, James pinned her “idol” Stratus to win her first title back in 2006 at WrestleMania 22. She played the role of Trish’s obsessive stalker and her win surprised the audience.

The duo spoke about their rivalry throughout the years. They agreed that the layered nature of their rivalry attracted the fans.

James immensely praised her opponent Asuka. She said, “Asuka will go down in WWE history as one of the greats.” She believes Asuka’s “Empress of tomorrow character is empowering and timeless” and “will last the tester of time.”

Mickie James is a future Hall of Famer and WWE fans have constantly demanded that she be treated as such. Hopefully, James will become the Women’s champion for the seventh time before retiring from in-ring action.

Candace Cameron Bure says she and husband are spicy after controversial pic

Candace Cameron Bure is happy to defend posting the photo of her husband grabbing her boob.

“I love the fact that so many people had an opinion on it. It made me laugh because I wasn’t trying to make a statement,” Bure, 44, told Fox News. “This is just how my husband and I are.

“You know, we adore each other and we still have fun and we’re spicy together.”

Bure, who has been married to hockey player Valeri Bure for nearly 25 years, maintained that longtime couples don’t have to lose sexual desire.

“We have a playful, loving marriage and I think that’s why we’re still married 24 years later,” she continued. “But I did respond because I always get bummed out when people have been married for so long and then I feel like the joke is always like, ‘Oh, we’re married – so that means we don’t have sex anymore.’ And it’s kind of like that a lot.

“And so I thought it was just a cute, funny picture and it was playful and it’s very much reflective of our personalities in real life.”

The former “Full House” star acknowledged her Christian fan base’s modest values but said the fun photo was just a sign of her “healthy” marriage.

“I just wanted to say it because I had no shame in posting that picture. You know, nothing was exposed, I didn’t think it was immodest,” she reiterated. “It was just two people having fun and we’ve been married for 24 years, but together for 26 years. So I just am like, hey, the playfulness doesn’t stop just because you’re married.”

Bure previously defended the photo—and reposted it—and said her husband is welcome to touch her.

“He can touch me any time he wants, and I hope he does,” she wrote. “This is what a healthy, good marriage and relationship is all about.”
