Hurricane Teddy, now Category 1, is moving across the Atlantic Ocean, the National Hurricane Center (NHC) reported.

The system was located about 670 miles east of the Lesser Antilles, according to the NHC bulletin on Wednesday at 11:00 pm ET.

The hurricane was moving in a northwesterly direction at 13 miles per hour and had maximum sustained winds of 90 mph.

At the moment, no warnings or watches have been issued on any coast, but it is believed that it will produce strong waves in the Lesser Antilles and on the north-east coasts of South America on Wednesday.
