DEONTAY WILDER should 'kiss Mark Breland's backside' for saving him from Tyson Fury, according to Frank Warren.

The American's reign as WBC heavyweight champion came to an emphatic end last February at the hands of The Gypsy King.

Frank Warren has claimed Deontay Wilder should kiss Mark Breland's backside Breland was fired by the Bronze Bomber and blamed for his defeat to Tyson Fury

Brit champ Fury inflicted Wilder's first professional defeat when they clashed for the second time after their initial bout ended in a draw.

And the one-sided nature of the fight led to a stream of excuses from the Bronze Bomber blaming heavy ring-walk outfits.

Wilder also insisted dodgy gloves allowed Fury to cut his ears with his fingernails - despite zero evidence.

But speaking a year on from the fight, Warren claimed the Brit just cemented his reputation as the best heavyweight in the world.

He told the Lockdown: “What a fabulous night and what a great job Tyson did, I mean he was phenomenal wasn't he?

“Again he went into the fight for some reason with the majority of people as the underdog but he went in there and absolutely destroyed Deontay Wilder.

“Deontay Wilder will never be the same fighter after that and he did a fabulous job and put himself as the number one heavyweight in the world.”

If anything he should go and kiss Mark Breland’s backside cause Mark saved him from getting a terrible belting

Frank Warren on Deontay Wilder

Wilder ditched his trainer Mark Breland after the 57-year-old threw in the towel to save him from brain damage.

The Bronze Bomber has since accused him of spiking his drink before the fight - an allegation which has been vehemently denied.

Breland, who had 39 fights as a pro winning 35, described that as a 'ludicrous allegation' in a lengthy statement posted on Instagram.

The legendary trainer - who has been backed by Eddie Hearn - sensationally labelled the deposed heavyweight champ 'untrainable'.

And Warren has since thrown his support behind Breland as well by claiming that Wilder was saved from a savage beating against Fury.

He said: “I’m a bit disappointed cause like I said before I quite liked Deontay.

“Leading up to the fight him and Tyson were getting at it but I had quite a bit of respect for him but since the fight he’s gone down in my estimation with the rubbish he’s come out with.

“If anything he should go and kiss Mark Breland’s backside cause Mark saved him from getting a terrible belting.”

‘The worst public policy decisions of my lifetime’: Brit Hume rails against lockdowns, school closings

Fox News senior political analyst Brit Hume laid into public policymakers Tuesday for appearing to solely rely on Dr. Anthony Fauci for guidance on the coronavirus pandemic and shutting out scientists from other fields.

"He’s an epidemiologist," Hume told Katie Pavlich of Fauci on "Fox News Primetime". "His job is to fight this disease. He’s not an expert in child psychology, or children’s education. He’s not an expert on whether cancer screenings can be postponed when there’s lockdowns that are affecting hospitals. He’s not an authority on the U.S. economy or the damage that may be done to it. He’s just not. That’s somebody else’s problem and it’s not his."

Hume then criticized governors who locked down their states last year based on Fauci’s ever-evolving messaging.

"When we as a nation turn over all of our policies [that] this pandemic touches upon or [is] touched upon by it, to a person with a very narrow focus, we end up with these insane lockdowns and we end up with collateral damage about which he seems unconcerned, because it’s not in his bailiwick, and we end up with the terrible problems that we’ve had," he said.

"When they talk about 'Follow the science,' the question becomes, which science? Economics is a science. Cardiology is a branch of science … If you only listen to some scientists instead of looking through a broader lens, you end up with the kind of policy decisions we’ve made. I think these lockdowns and the closing of the schools are the worst public policy decisions of my lifetime."

While Hume laid much of the responsibility at the feet of public officials, there was another group he called out.

"A great deal of responsibility for our unfortunate responses belongs with the news media, which has been terrible in this."
