OAKLAND (BCN) – A man died following a stabbing in Oakland Sunday morning, police said.

Patrol officers responded at 9:25 a.m. Sunday to the 900 block of 69th Avenue after someone reported a fight and a stabbing.

Officers arrived and located a male victim with multiple stab wounds, according to police.

Firefighters and paramedics took the Oakland resident to a hospital where he died, police said. His name is not yet being released.

Police: Man Dies After Shooting in Tucson's Midtown Area

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) — A man has died after a shooting in Tucson's midtown area, according to police.

They said officers responded to reported shooting Tuesday afternoon.

Police officers found a man who was later pronounced dead on the scene.

His name wasn’t immediately released.

Police said they believe all parties involved in the shooting are in custody, but they didn’t disclose any other information.

Detectives said their investigation was ongoing.
