"Obviously hearing the news has shaken me up as it's probably shaken everybody up to see that.Hearing [agent Mark Steinberg] say that he's in surgery for his legs is something that really worries me and when you hear a comment like that you know it's true," she told the New York Post.
"He's an athlete and his legs are essential to his sport and to him being who he is and he's already had trouble with his body up until this point," she continued. "He didn't need any more injuries."
Tiger was taken to surgery following his single-car accident on Feb. 23 in Los Angeles. His agent said the five-time Master's champion suffered multiple injuries to his legs. The "jaws of life" had to be used to get him out of the car, a press release from Los Angeles County Sheriff said. His injuries, however, are "severe but not life-threatening," officials are saying.© Phelan M Ebenhack/AP/Shutterstock Tiger Woods
The golf legend famously crashed his car in 2009 after his then-wife, Elin Nordegren, found out that he'd been having a long-running affair with Rachel, a former nightclub host in New York City and Las Vegas. For more than ten years, Rachel remained mum about her romance with Tiger, but she recently spoke about the relationship for an HBO documentary.
"I have stayed quiet about this story, but at this point, I have nothing left to lose. My name hasn't lost the stigma at all," she said in the documentary.
The documentary also touched on Tiger's DUI arrest in 2017. In that instance it was determined that he was under the influence of painkillers and sleep medications. The cause of the Feb. 23 accident is not known yet.
Tiger has been recovering from a fifth back surgery and, just two day before the auto accident, he'd spoke of returning to golf for the Masters tournament in April.

And while police have confirmed Woods was 'not drunk or on meds', they have issued a warrant to obtain the black box from the Genesis GV80 SUV.
Woods was forced to undergo surgery to fix two fractures in his right leg and a shattered ankle after his car flipped and rolled off the road.
The golf great reportedly hit a raised central reservation at 'speed', smashed through a street sign, hit a tree and then flipped his £36,000 vehicle several times.
The SUV came to rest in bushes at the side of the road where Woods was found trapped inside the car by Deputy Carlos Gonzalez, who was alerted by a neighbour who heard the crash.
During a press conference last week, LA County Sheriff Alex Villanueva confirmed Woods will not be facing criminal charges.
Villanueva revealed: "We don't contemplate any charges whatsoever in this crash.
"This remains an accident, an accident is not a crime, they do happen unfortunately."
Asked whether or not any drugs of alcohol tests were done at the scene, Villanueva said: "The Deputy on the scene assessed the condition of Tiger Woods and there was no evidence of any impairment whatsoever.4 Most read in GolfWEB PAIGEPaige Spiranac laughs off troll who brands her 'eBay Margot Robbie'HOMA TRUTHSPaige leaps to Homa's defence for not wearing Tiger's red and black coloursTIGER BY THE TAILTiger Woods injuries - breaks to legs, feet and ankles in car crashLive BlogOUT OF THE WOODSTiger Woods transferred to Notorious B.I.G death hospital after surgeryCommentTIGER TRIBUTETiger Woods' rollercoaster career looks to be over after horror car accident'CONDITION UNKNOWN'What to know about the Genesis GV80 Woods was driving when he crashed
"He was lucid - no evidence of alcohol, no evidence of any medication or narcotics."
Despite that, cops have issued a warrant to assess the information on the Genesis' black box.
Tiger recently revealed he's in good spirits, despite being told he won't be able to walk for at least three months.
And the 15-time Major winner was buoyed to see so many of his fellow players pay tribute to him on Sunday by wearing his iconic red-black combo at the World Golf Championship event in Florida.
Woods tweeted: "It is hard to explain how touching today was when I turned on the tv and saw all the red shirts.
"To every golfer and every fan, you are truly helping me get through this tough time."
