Dominion Voting Systems:

by Debra Heine  Dominion Voting Systems Thursday night abruptly backed out of attending a fact-finding hearing that was set for Friday morning with the Pennsylvania House State Government Committee. At a press conference Friday morning, State Govt Committee Chair Seth Grove said the 1.3. million Pennsylvanians who used Dominion’s voting machines have been “hung out to dry and slapped in their faces.” Pennsylvania lawmakers had scheduled the hearing with the voting machine manufacturer “to help identify and correct any irregularities in the election process,” according to the House Republican Caucus. “It is vitally important voters have faith in the machines they use to cast their ballots. On the heels of Gov. Tom Wolf unilaterally decertifying every voting machine in the Commonwealth, we need to know whether these new machines met expectations, whether they are reliable and whether they are not subject to interference,” said Rep. Grove...
Early on Thursday morning, Donald Trump shared a One America News segment on Twitter that spoke to cyber analyst Ron Watkins, who Gizmodo claimed used to be an administrator for 8kun. According to a tweet by NBC News reporter Ben Collins, the website — owned by the analyst’s father, Jim Watkins — was rebranded from its previous name, 8chan, due to its link to the manifestos of mass murderers. In addition to these reported manifestos, Mother Jones reported that the site was also known for user swaps of child pornography and profiting from domains that contained this material. “The domains’ names include terms such as ‘preteen,’ ‘schoolgirl,” and ‘child’ alongside graphic terms for genitalia and words like ‘rape’ and ‘love.’ It’s unclear what, if anything, is currently being served at the domains. However, an analysis of metadata collected years ago from one by archive.org shows dozens of filenames and links...
by Debra Heine  Two members of President Trump’s legal team and the president himself are claiming to have discovered evidence of massive election fraud generated by software produced by Smartmatic and Dominion Voting Systems. Dominion is running our Election. Rigged! https://t.co/xvwrpLpAZa — Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) November 16, 2020 Sidney Powell, lead lawyer for former National Security Advisor Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Michael Flynn, and Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani are both alleging that statistical evidence shows hundreds of thousands of votes switched from Trump to the “projected winner” Joe Biden and that President Trump actually won the election in a landslide. According to Giuliani, the president has no intention of conceding and is “vigorously” contesting the election in court.” During an interview with Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo, Giuliani also revealed stunning information regarding a top officer at Dominion. Giuliani was alluding to Eric...
DENVER (CBS4) — President Donald Trump tweeted “I WON THE ELECTION,” Sunday night, claiming again that Denver-based Dominion Voting Systems rigged the outcome with its ballot-counting software. Twitter quickly labeled the post with a disclaimer, stating, “Official sources called this election differently.” President Donald Trump on July 29, 2020 in Midland, Texas. (credit: Montinique Monroe/Getty Images) “Dominion is running our Election. Rigged!” Pres. Trump tweeted Sunday night. Twitter flagged that tweet as well, stating, “This claim about election fraud is disputed.” Last week, Pres. Trump claimed Dominion Voting deleted millions of votes cast for him — and changed more than 600,000 others. “REPORT: DOMINION DELETED 2.7 MILLION TRUMP VOTES NATIONWIDE. DATA ANALYSIS FINDS 221,000 PENNSYLVANIA VOTES SWITCHED FROM PRESIDENT TRUMP TO BIDEN. 941,000 TRUMP VOTES DELETED. STATES USING DOMINION VOTING SYSTEMS SWITCHED 435,000 VOTES FROM TRUMP TO BIDEN,” he tweeted. Dominion Voting posted a statement on its website calling the...
Loading the player... This week, multiple conservative news sources have made the claim that vote-counting software used in the 2020 election was programmed in now President-elect Joe Biden‘s favor. According to USA Today, numerous right-wing outlets are accusing Dominion Voting Systems of either deleting votes for President Donald Trump or switching votes for the president to Biden. On the air earlier this week, One America News Network‘s Lilia Fifield made the claim. The report can be viewed on the site Mediaite. “Election systems across the country are found to have deleted millions of votes cast for President Trump,” Fifield said. “According to an unaudited analysis of data obtained from Edison Research, states using Dominion Voting Systems may have switched as many as 435,000 votes from President Trump to Joe Biden, and the author also finds another 2.7 million Trump votes appear to have been deleted by Dominion including...
Democrat leaders, including Sens. Elizabeth Warren (MA), Amy Klobuchar (MN), and Ron Wyden (OR), wrote a letter in December 2019 to the private equity firms controlling the United States’ three leading voting technology companies, expressing concern in the letter about the voting technology industry’s “vulnerabilities” and “lack of transparency.” The letter was sent on December 6, 2019, to three private equity firms, taking issue with “vulnerabilities and a lack of transparency in the election technology industry and the poor condition of voting machines and other election technology equipment,” Warren’s office said of the letter. The letter sought information about what role the firms had in perpetuating the technology issues. The letter was sent to the following: H.I.G. Capital, investing in Hart InterCivic McCarthy Group, investing in Election Systems & Software Staple Street Capital, investing in Dominion Voting Systems At the time, those three voting technology companies facilitated 90 percent of...
Four congressional Democrats sent a letter to the owners of Dominion Voting Systems and cited several problems that “threaten the integrity of our elections,” including “vote switching.” In a December 2019 letter to Dominion Voting Systems, which has been mired in controversy after a human error involving its machines in Antrim County, Michigan, resulted in incorrect counts, Democratic Sens. Elizabeth Warren, Ron Wyden, and Amy Klobuchar and congressman Mark Pocan warned about reports of machines “switching votes,” “undisclosed vulnerabilities,” and “improbable” results that “threaten the integrity of our elections.” Dominion.????️"These problems threaten the integrity of our elections."Senators Elizabeth Warren (D), Amy Klobuchar (D) & Ron Wyden (D) issue a formal complaint in 2019 to Dominion Voting Systems.Among the complaints? PHOTO VIA MATT GAETZ/INSTAGRAMU.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz continued on Thursday to press the case President Donald Trump was a victim of election fraud in last week’s plebiscite. On Fox News with host Sean Hannity, the Panhandle Republican made a provocative assertion, saying errant voting machines “changed more votes than Vladimir Putin ever did.” Gaetz was discussing “Dominion Software Systems,” the voting machine company under fire after disputed reports that tallies had switched from Donald Trump to Joe Biden. “Here’s one thing I know, Sean: Those Dominion Software Systems, they changed more votes than Vladimir Putin ever did,” Gaetz said, before going deeper into the Russia rabbit hole “And we spent three four years, tens of millions of dollars on this fiction of Russian collusion with the Trump campaign. I’d say a few more weeks ensuring that we had a fair election in 2020 is worth this great nation’s time.” In addition to faulty machines, Gaetz discussed faulty voter rolls....
YouTube Dr. Eric Coomer is the Director of Product Strategy & Security and a Vice President of Dominion Voting Systems, the election service company that has become a hub for conspiracy theories around the presidential election. Many conservative pundits and conspiracy theorists, along with the president himself, have pushed the unsubstantiated claim that Dominion altered the election results in some way on behalf of Biden. The conspiracy theories circling Coomer come on the heels of rising, unsubstantiated claims of fraud with Dominion Voting Systems overall. Dominion Voting Systems is an election services company based in Toronto, Canada, that has provided the technology for the presidential election in certain counties of the country. Earlier this week, Trump pushed the unsubstantiated claim that Dominion “voting glitches” were responsible for a change in vote counts in pivotal counties in Georgia and Michigan. Jack Nicas debunked this claim for The New York...
President Trump and campaign surrogates have claimed, without evidence, that widespread voter fraud occurred in the key battleground states that gave President-elect Joe Biden the necessary Electoral College votes to become the projected 46th president of the United States. The latest claim, that Dominion Voting Systems, a voting software company used in 28 states, deleted and switched votes intended for Mr. Trump, also does not hold water.  "There is no evidence that any voting system deleted or lost votes, changed votes, or was in any way compromised," said a statement posted Thursday by the federal Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA). The joint statement, from the Election Infrastructure Government Coordinating Council and the Election Infrastructure Sector Coordinating Executive Committees, called the 2020 election "the most secure in American history."  Nevertheless, the president on Thursday tweeted an unsubstantiated story from the pro-Trump One America News Network that Dominion "deleted 2.7 million Trump...
IT professionals and software experts are coming forward to share how the controversial Dominion Voting Systems (Dominion) can be hacked. They also call into question components within Dominion shared by other voting systems. The Tennessee Star interviewed career IT professional and security software expert Garland Favorito to learn more about vulnerabilities within Dominion Voting Systems’ software in Georgia. Favorito created the Georgia-based nonprofit, nonpartisan volunteer organization that aims to preserve election integrity: Voters Organized for Trusted Election Results in Georgia (VOTER GA). The organization reviews and seeks to reform voting practices in Georgia. Favorito asserted that issues with voting have come down to two main sources: signature verification for mail-in voting, and the electronic voting software. He expressed confidence in the decision by Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to audit ballots by hand. “Whether or not the software was tabulated correctly will be...

Dianne Feinstein and the Clinton Foundation have interest or influence in Dominion are all unsubstantiated. But that didn't stop tens of thousands of social media users from amplifying them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram this week. Here's what you need to know about the falsehoods spreading around Dominion Voting Systems.CLAIM: Prominent Democrats including Pelosi, Feinstein and the Clinton family have a stake in or a deep relationship with Dominion Voting Systems, the second-largest...

The Dominion voting voting machines President Donald Trump and others in his campaign have claimed caused voting inaccuracies on Election Day did nothing of the sort, the New York Times reported Thursday. Trump suggested as recently as Thursday morning that the company “attempted to alter our election and got caught,” but an NYT county-by-county investigation found that the issues were caused by human error or merely caused a delay in reporting numbers, not a change in vote counts. The vast majority of counties in Michigan and Georgia that experienced issues on Election Day did not use Dominion voting systems. “In the two Michigan counties that had mistakes, the inaccuracies were because of human errors, not software problems, according to the Michigan Department of State, county officials and election-security experts. Only one of the two Michigan counties used Dominion software,” NYT wrote. (RELATED: Here’s How Recounts Could Unfold In Critical Battleground...
Dominion Voting Systems rebuked claims that the company has a financial relationship with the husband of Sen. Dianne Feinstein and that the company manipulated the results of the 2020 election. "The company has no financial relationship with Mr. Blum," Kay Stimson, Dominion's vice president of government affairs, told the Dispatch. "This is a false claim spread on social media." Trump legal adviser Sidney Powell said Democrats, including Feinstein's husband, Richard Blum, invested in the voting system company to "steal" elections not only from Republicans but from other Democrats. Fox News's Maria Bartiromo said that she had seen reports that Blum was a "significant shareholder" in Dominion and that a former chief of staff for Nancy Pelosi is a "key executive." "They have invested in it for their own reasons and are using it to commit this fraud to steal votes," Powell told Bartiromo during an interview. "I...
The Dominion Voting Systems, which has been used in multiple states where fraud has been alleged in the 2020 U.S. Election, was rejected three times by data communications experts from the Texas Secretary of State and Attorney General’s Office for failing to meet basic security standards. Unlike Texas, other states certified the use of the system, including Pennsylvania, where voter fraud has been alleged on multiple counts this week. Dominion Voting Systems, a Canadian company headquartered in Denver, is one of three companies primarily used in U.S. elections. The others are Election Systems and Software and Texas based-Hart InterCivic. The Dominion system was implemented in North Carolina and Nevada, where election results are being challenged, and in Georgia and Michigan, where a “ glitch” that occurred reversed thousands of votes for Republican President Donald Trump to Democrat Joe Biden. While Biden declared victory Saturday in his...
Researchers have questioned the reliability of new voting machines that state and local officials have rushed to implement at their polling locations ahead of the 2020 presidential election. “Some of the most popular ballot-marking machines, made by Election Systems & Software and Dominion Voting Systems, register votes in bar codes that the human eye cannot decipher,” according to a February report by Associated Press. But according to researchers, that’s a problem, as “voters could end up with printouts that accurately spell out the names of the candidates they picked, but, because of a hack, the bar codes do not reflect those choices.” “Because the bar codes are what’s tabulated, voters would never know that their ballots benefited another candidate,” the report adds. State and local officials had reportedly rushed to replace old voting systems with the new software ahead of the 2020 presidential election out of fear of “unreliable electronic...
C-Span John Poulos of Dominion Voters Systems Dominion Voting Systems is an election services company from Canada that is responsible for technology used to count votes in many of the close battleground states in the 2020 presidential election. Issues have arisen in some of those states, such as Michigan and Georgia, propelling Dominion into the spotlight. Dominion Voting Systems is a company from Toronto, Canada, that has headquarters in Denver, Colorado, and is one of three major firms providing voting machines in U.S. elections. You can read a form through the State of California that gives its background here. That 2014 form says it was founded in 2003 in Canada and 2009 in the U.S. Its principal officers were listed then as John Poulos, CEO; Ian MacVicar, CFO; and James Hoover, VP of Product Line Management. Other articles say Poulos and Hoover are the co-founders. Since the 2016...
DETROIT — Republicans are probing more Michigan's counties and suggesting investigations in Nevada and Arizona to determine whether further Dominion Voting Systems technology errors caused votes to be counted incorrectly. Tony Zammit, communications director for the Michigan Republican Party, told the Washington Examiner on Saturday that the GOP is working across the Wolverine State to find out if other counties experienced similar issues to Antrim County. “Our team is currently reaching out to county clerks across Michigan as well as going through election results in each of the counties which use this software to see how widespread this error may be,” Zammit said. A failure to update software caused a glitch in one Michigan county, resulting in 6,000 votes erroneously being tabulated for Joe Biden rather than President Trump. Michigan Republican Party Chairwoman Laura Cox claimed during a Friday news conference that 47 of Michigan’s...
