Do you feel like something big is coming with this election? Whether it's societal collapse or just widespread unrest, it feels like "evil is washing over the world right now," said Glenn Beck on his radio program. "I think these are the beginnings of the days that have been foretold," Glenn stated. He urged Americans to prepare — physically, spiritually, and mentally — but also warned against adding to any violence. "We will not be counted as 'helpers', if you will, if we are engaging in violence. That is different than protecting your family, your home … but for those who are thinking, 'I'm going to get a group together.' That is not the way to go," Glenn said. Since early July, British scientists grappling with the coronavirus pandemic have been involved in some very unlikely detective work. Every couple of days, they have been taking samples of wastewater from 44 of the UK's largest sewage plants to study one particular component — what comes out of our loos. Wastewater is used water that's come from domestic sinks, showers and loos, and is contaminated with everything from soaps and chemicals to food scraps and human faeces. Every day, billions of gallons of it are pumped from sewers to treatment works, where it is cleaned (using bacteria to break down all the contaminants) and released back into rivers and streams. Scientists in the UK (as well the U.S., Italy, France and The Netherlands) are now able to detect even the tiniest amount of the virus's genetic material in untreated sewage RELATED ARTICLES Previous 1 Next ...

Obsessive thoughts, constant distraction and a sudden loss of interest in hobbies you once enjoyed are among the early warning signs that something is wrong in your relationship, a clinical psychologist has warned. Gabby Goodier, from Perth, Western Australia, on Friday shared a list of 12 red flags that prove you have 'reached a limit' with your certain elements of your partner's behaviour. These include unexplained insomnia, anxiety, mounting resentment and not having time for friends and family, according to the founder of The Sage Society, an online practice specialising in parenting, love and personal development. Being overly critical of either yourself or your partner is also cause for concern, Ms Goodier said, as is the niggling sense that you can't be your true self around them. The audio starts with President Trump admitting to Woodward, “And Bob, it’s so easily transmissible, you wouldn’t believe it,” to which the author replied, “I know.” Trump then proceeded to tell a story about an Oval Office meeting with ten people in which someone “innocently” sneezed. According to the commander-in-chief, “the entire room bailed out, including me.” After the clip airs, Woodward laughs at the bizarre nature of the innocent sneeze story. Colbert’s reaction, however, is more telling, saying, “I know he’s making light...

Five days before the election that put Donald Trump in the White House, a 2016 article we wrote appeared under the headline "Dangerous Myths About Trump That Some Progressives Cling To." The piece warned progressive activists about "three key myths": Myth #1: Trump can't win. Myth #2: If Trump becomes president, he'll be blocked from implementing the policies he's been advocating. Myth #3: Trump couldn't do much damage as president. We wrote that each of those myths was based on major misunderstandings of political realities: In fact, Trump actually could win. If he did, we shouldn't "have an inflated view of our own power to block the policies of a President Trump." And, we added, "Trump...
