They said the boys — ages 3 and 6 — were found safe at a motel Wednesday. Police issued an Amber Alert on Tuesday after Clorisa Renee Covington took the two boys without permission after their dental appointment despite the children being in a state protective care program.     A woman snatched a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old from a Norwalk park Wednesday, Dec. 2., but the mother was able to get her children back, authorities said. Robert Mathis, 33, and Erin Mathis, 36, both face multiple counts of lewd acts with a child under 10 years of age and possession of obscene matter, authorities said. Donna St. John, 26, of Wildwood Avenue, in Milford, was arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 44, and charged with risk of injury to a child, police said. Milford Police were called to Wildwood Avenue that evening for a report of an infant having difficulty breathing, police said. Steven Young, 45, has been charged with murder in the shooting death of 32-year-old Charly Lewis, whose body was found in an alley on June 7 in Denver, news station KUSA reported. Steven Young, 45, has been charged with murder in the shooting death of 32-year-old Charly Lewis, whose body was found in an alley on June 7 in Denver, news station KUSA reported. They said 28-year-old Chaimara Washington called 911 and told the dispatcher that her daughter had fallen and hit her head on Sept. 22. Court documents show when officers arrived at the apartment, they found the young girl unconscious and suffering from bruises and cuts on her body and head.     PENN VALLEY (CBS13) — A search is on for a man accused of sexually assaulting an 18-year-old woman at Western Gateway Park, the sheriff’s office says. The incident happened back on the evening of July 3. According to the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office, a young Penn Valley woman reported that she had befriended a man at the park earlier in the day, then was sexually assaulted. Deputies immediately responded to the park to ensure the woman’s safety and to start investigating. Over the weekend, detectives were able to identify the suspect as 31-year-old Grass Valley resident Christopher Smith. He has still not been located by detectives.     SAN MIGUEL COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – A judge sentenced an accused doomsday cult leader to back-to-back 32-year sentences for her role in the deaths of two young girls in Norwood. The sisters, Hannah Marshal and Makayla Roberts, were found dead inside of a car in the summer of 2017. Makayla Roberts and Hannah Marshall (credit: San Miguel County) Madani Ceus, from Haiti, was charged with felony child abuse resulting in death. The car was parked on a farm near Telluride. Madani Ceus (credit: San Miguel County Sheriff’s Office) Ceus ordered her followers, including the girls’ mother, to lock them in the car without food or water because she considered them “unclean.” The group was awaiting an apocalypse.
