The remark appeared to reverse McCarthy’s statements immediately following the Jan. 6 attack that Trump was at least partly to blame for the violence. “No, I have not changed on that,” McCarthy told Van Susteren. Instead, he insisted that all Americans, which presumably includes Trump, share responsibility—a bold claim that carried strong...
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) assigned partial blame to Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg for last week's riot on the Capitol, highlighting qualms she raised last year when challenging the social media's attack on disinformation. Speaking during a Friday town hall meeting, Ocasio-Cortez said that Facebook was 'trying to do as much damage control as possible.' 'But they knew,' she asserted. 'Not only did they know but they allowed it.'  Speaking during a Friday town hall meeting, AOC said that Facebook was 'trying to do as much damage control as possible' AOC brought up the Congressional hearing where Zuckerberg and other big tech giants testified about how they were tackling disinformation leading up to the 2020 Presidential election.  'We knew this was a problem,' she said. 'We knew this so far out that pre-COVID, I asked him specifically about election disinformation and its ties on Facebook to White supremacist organizations, and...
Governor Larry Hogan (R-MD) on Sunday’s “State of the Union” on CNN accused President Donald Trump of being “responsible for inciting this riotous mob” at the U.S. Capitol earlier this week. Anchor Jake Tapper said, “The president incited a domestic terrorist attack on the U.S. Capitol. Five people have died, including Capitol police officer Brian Sicknick. “Does President Trump have blood on his hands?” Hogan said, “There is no question in my mind that he was responsible for inciting this riotous mob. That this was an insurrection. You know, they stormed the Capitol and threatened to kill the vice president and put the lives of people in danger. and he had a huge part, a huge role to play in that.” Tapper said, “And I think a lot of people don’t understand how close this was to a mass casualty event with members of Congress and the vice president slaughtered....

The storming of the United States Capitol marks a new day of infamy in American history. It was a horrifying spectacle that makes us look like an ungovernable third world country to our friends and adversaries alike. Tuesday during an appearance on FNC’s “Hannity,” Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton elaborated on the merits of a lawsuit his state of Texas has against Georgia, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin, claiming those states violated the election guidelines set by the U.S. Constitution in the 2020 election. Paxton also noted that when a state sues another state, or in this case, multiple states, the case goes directly to the U.S. Supreme Court as the court of jurisdiction. Transcript as follows: HANNITY: Here with more now is the Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. First of all, look, I have got it all right here, highlighted all of it, read it cover to cover. Governor Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) said Thursday on ABC’s “The View” that President Donald Trump was responsible for “every death” in the country from the coronavirus pandemic. Co-host Whoopi Goldberg said, “Coronavirus is now the third leading cause of death in America, and you say, and rightfully so I think, but I’m going to ask you, you’re holding you-know-who responsible for every death in New York from COVID. I’m going to say to you. Why?” Cuomo said, “I’m holding you-know-who responsible for every death in this country. First, Whoopi, because he lied about it. He lied about it from day one. They had that memo in January from a person named Peter Navarro saying millions are going to die. They lied about it, and they knew that millions were going to get infected and that hundreds of thousands were going to die. That’s the first reason. The Old Book says, don’t...
Madison Summers October 29, 2020 0 Comments Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) is not mincing words on how he feels regarding President Donald Trump’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic. The Democratic governor declared during Thursday’s “The View” interview that he believes Trump is “responsible for every death in this country” from coronavirus. “He lied about it, he lied about it from day one,” Cuomo continued, noting a memo in January by Trump’s top trade adviser Peter Navarro that said the National Security Council warned millions of Americans could die from COVID-19. Cuomo also claimed the Trump administration was “totally incompetent in what they did” regarding the pandemic. See Cuomo’s remarks below: New York Gov. Cuomo says he holds Pres. Trump “responsible for every death in this country” from COVID-19 because the admin “lied” and was “totally incompetent” in their response: “110,000 people more are going to die because...
Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden claimed without evidence on Thursday night that President Donald Trump was responsible for every single person who has died from the coronavirus, which originated in China. “If the president had done his job, had done his job from the beginning, all the people would still be alive. All the people—I’m not making this up. Just look at the data. Look at the data,” Biden stated. Heading into the Republican National Convention, the Trump campaign understood something Donald Trump didn't—he repels most people even if his cultists adore him. That was clear by Trump's soft viewership ratings on the fourth night of the convention, coming in at 23.8 million viewers across thirteen cable and broadcast networks. Despite appropriating the grandiosity of the White House for his own political gain, Trump still fell solidly short of Joe Biden’s 24.6 million viewers. And on the third night of the convention, Kamala Harris at 22.8 million viewers trounced Mike Pence, who delivered a dismal 17.3 million viewers. But even before we had that metric to judge by, GOP convention organizers sought to make the case for Trump mostly in his absence. Even though Trump bookended the 4-day liefest by showing up early on the first day and blathering away for nearly an hour, and then closing out the convention by blathering for more than another hour, Trump was surprisingly more absent than expected in between...

At least 17 people were killed in shootings in Chicago this weekend, including 1-year-old Sincere Gaston, who was shot in the chest while he was in the back seat of his mother’s car in Englewood on Saturday afternoon, and 10-year-old Lena Nunez, who was killed by a stray bullet that went through an apartment window in Logan Square on Saturday night. “As a dad standing alongside other parents up here on this podium, I struggle to make sense of the reckless gun violence that continues to take the lives of our young people throughout the city,” Brown said Monday...

Because this person probably got sick, who knows where, we don’t know, but he had it”Srdjan Djokovic told the Serbian network ‘RTL’, without specifically mentioning the name of the Bulgarian. The father of ‘Nole’ criticizes Dimitrov for the test on his return to Monaco and not in Zadar (Croatia). “I don’t think it’s correct, but what are we going to do to him. He has caused great damage to Croatia, to us as a family and to Serbia”, he asserted. Srdjan Djokovic remarked that his son “is not well” because of what has happened. “Of...

A wild mountain lion cub may have treated himself to a caged Australian buffet courtesy of the San Francisco Zoo. The mauled marsupials — two wallaroos and a red kangaroo — were found dead at the zoo last week, according to the San Francisco Chronicle, and fingers are pointing at a young puma found wandering the city. The cub was caught on tape by Fernando Robles who posted a video of the large cat on Twitter noting, “At around 12:30 am I spotted a mountain lion roaming the streets of Russian Hill. I followed from inside my car and lost visual contact near [the] intersection of Greenwich and Jones. Be safe when walking alone at night or when walking your pets. I reported the sighting to SFPD.” The cub was captured by animal control on Thursday at Fourth and Channel streets near Oracle Park and is currently being held at...
