TIGER Woods’ rollercoaster career has gripped the world for nearly a quarter of a century. He shot to fame in 1997 when he won the Masters by a massive 12 strokes aged just 21. Getty 6 Tiger Woods, who is dating Erica Herman, has had a rollercoaster career He set 20 new Masters records in the tournament at Augusta despite only being a pro for a year. In 2000, his unstoppable run of form saw him land the US Open, the PGA Championship and the British Open. The following year, he won the Masters yet again, becoming the only player to win four consecutive majors, dubbed the “Tiger slam”.  In 2006, he dedicated his victory at the British Open to his father Earl, who had died just a few months before. KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Kansas City Chiefs have built big leads and blown most of the advantage. They’ve rallied from early deficits to pull away in the fourth quarter. They’ve played nip-and-tuck showdowns in which neither team had an opportunity to rest easy. The one constant the past six games: They always end up winning. The latest close shave for the defending Super Bowl champions came on Sunday, when the Chiefs built a 14-0 lead in New Orleans; gave all of it away and trailed 15-14 in the third quarter; rallied to lead 32-22 late in the fourth; and then had to grind out a couple of first downs to preserve a 32-29 victory over the Saints. In doing so, they became the first team in NFL history to win six straight games by a single score. “I didn’t know that stat,” Chiefs coach Andy Reid said. “You...
by Doug Ferguson  AUGUSTA, Georgia (AP) — In this one-of-a-kind Masters that had no fans and no roars, Dustin Johnson made sure it had no drama. And when he polished off his five-shot victory Sunday with lowest score in tournament history, he had no words. Only tears. Looking smart in his Masters green jacket he dreamed his whole life of winning, Johnson spoke to a small gathering on the putting green in absence of the official ceremony, but only briefly. In control of every aspect of his game on a course that never allows anyone to relax, he couldn’t speak when it was over. Instead, he turned to wipe his eyes. “I’ve never had this much trouble gathering myself,” Johnson finally said. “On the golf course, I’m pretty good at it.” No one was better. Not even close. Johnson overcame a nervous start that conjured...
By DOUG FERGUSON AUGUSTA, Ga. (AP) — Nothing ever comes easily for Dustin Johnson in the majors, except for when he slipped his arms through that Masters green jacket Sunday. Johnson overcame a jittery start that conjured memories of past majors he failed to finish off. He turned that into a command performance, making sure this one-of-a-kind Masters with no fans also had no drama. Not even close. Johnson tapped in for par on the 18th for a 4-under 68 to finish at 20-under 268, breaking by two shots the record set by Tiger Woods in 1997 and matched by Jordan Spieth in 2015. His five-shot victory was the largest at the Masters since Woods won by 12 in 1997. All that was missing were the roars from a crowd for any of his pivotal putts early and his birdie putts on the back nine that put it away. “It...

But the FedEx Cup champ - who...
