Tamron Hall has hit back at allegations she 'went rogue' while interviewing fired Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder last week. The host of The Tamron Hall Show, 50, spoke about claims Schroeder wasn’t happy with the interview during Tuesday's episode. 'She knew the subject matter. She knew what I was going to ask her,' said Hall of her exchange with Schroeder.
Tamron Hall is speaking out against claims that Stassi Schroeder was ambushed in their interview. The former “Vanderpump Rules” star, 32, appeared on “The Tamron Hall Show” for her first televised interview since her firing last week, but despite speaking eloquently about her wrongdoings, a report claimed Schroeder wasn’t happy with the exchange. “The other day I was told that there was a report that Stassi felt ‘unprepared’ and that it was ‘awkward.’ Even that I had gone rogue — whatever that means,” Hall, 50, said on Tuesday’s episode (via a clip captured by Queens of Bravo), referring to an Us Weekly article citing a source. “Let me just be open because I’m expecting everybody who’s participating in this show today, I want them to be open, so I have to do the same. It’s why I wanted this show to be honest with you.” “So I’m going to...

DEAR MISS MANNERS: I was invited to go out on a date, just for a bite to eat and a movie. I was polite and brought flowers. Then the person who took me out said that I was to pay for everything. Is that a rude revelation? I get stuck with the bill for dinner, a movie and drinks, when the one who asked me out demands that I pay? Is that totally right? If I ask the person out for coffee or lunch/dinner, I often say that I will pick up the tab the first time, then let the other person pick it up the second time. Screen grab via Fox News This morning, Tampa Police Chief Brian Dugan went on "Fox & Friends" to argue that his department “can’t win” against protesters, by discussing a completely unrelated incident that had nothing to do with the recent Black Lives Matter protests. Speaking to the hosts, Dugan discussed what he calls an “ambush” that occurred last Saturday, at the intersection of N. 15th Street and E. 26th Avenue in Tampa’s V.M. Ybor neighborhood, explaining that officers had bottles thrown at them while responding to a potential shooting.  “This incident, we actually sent nine officers and it was clearly just a setup to get the cops there and then surround them,” said Dugan, while aerial footage of the incident played on another screen. “But this is what we're dealing with, are these block parties or they demonstrations? You know, what are they?”  When asked if this was an organized event,...

By MICHAEL R. SISAK and JIM MUSTIAN NEW YORK (AP) — Police are trying to determine what motivated Wednesday’s stabbing ambush of an officer on an anti-looting patrol in Brooklyn — a late-night attack that spurred a struggle in which the suspect was shot and two other officers sustained gunshot injuries to their hands. Officer Yayonfrant Jean Pierre, who was stabbed in the neck, and the other wounded officers, Randy Ramnarine and Dexter Chiu, were expected to recover. The suspect was hospitalized in critical condition after being shot multiple times, Police Commissioner Dermot Shea said Thursday. His name has not been released. The bloodshed happened just before midnight Wednesday, in the hours after an 8 p.m. curfew that was intended to quell days of unrest over the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis and other instances of alleged police misconduct. It is “preliminary to be making statements at this point”...
