Prince Harry has said that he stepped back from royal duties because the British press was “toxic” and “destroying” his mental health. In an extraordinary interview unparalleled in the annals of royal history, Harry gave a candid interview to his close friend James Corden on The Late Late Show while they toured Los Angeles on an open-air double-decker bus. Corden was a guest at Harry and Meghan’s wedding in 2018 and arrived at the evening reception dressed as Henry VIII. Another guest at the wedding, Oprah Winfrey, has taped an interview primarily with Meghan that will be screened next weekend. The two men were served afternoon tea, which Corden said he had provided to remind Harry of home, however the tea service was abandoned after the bus braked sharply, depositing the contents of a tea trolley on top of the prince. “Clear it up, Harry,” Corden joked as the...

‘Modern Family’ is one of the funniest and most original comedy fictions of recent times. It managed to stay on the air for eleven years and always with high audience data. Throughout that time, they did not change actors and, therefore, the spectators witnessed how the children of the family ended up becoming adults. One of the clear examples has been that of the actor Nolan Gould, who has shown the physical transformation it has achieved during the pandemic. Known for his role as Luke Dunphy on the ABC series, Gould has undergone a spectacular physical change, the result of which he has shown in a pose he has made in People magazine. The interpreter began his passage in ‘Modern Family’ being just an 11-year-old boy. He combined his work in fiction with some feature films such as « Things to do before 18 », « With the right to rubbing » or « Yes »,...

With solidarity aid and getting into debt, they paid for air transport and today they await the patient’s recovery. « If we were still there and it got worse, we didn’t have a UTI bed, in Concepción there are only two therapy beds for covid and both are occupied, » said Belén Rolón, the patient’s daughter. From what little material is available, it looks like Bug Squad may have featured a crew of jumping, bipedal cockroaches infesting 742 Evergreen Terrace. The game features a cel-shaded version of the Simpson family’s kitchen and living room, with a remarkable degree of accuracy. Of the eponymous family, only Homer makes an appearance, walking around the room like a moving hazard, oblivious to the bugs. Another title that Red Lemon began work on, but never finished, was Take The Bullet, a first-person shooter that used the Dreamcast light gun. That game was unearthed back in 2015, with The Dreamcast Junkyard showing off some play-through footage from what had been completed. The addition of another canceled title helps to burnish Red Lemon’s legacy, and make us all a little wistful for what could have been.

Netflix’s latest season of The Crown opens with a warning of ‘scenes of an eating disorder which some viewers may find troubling’. There is no mention of a truth disorder. Did the Royal Family humiliate Mrs Thatcher at Balmoral? No. Did Charles phone Camilla every day after marrying Diana. No. Did the Queen have relatives locked in a mental hospital to avoid embarrassment? No. These and other falsities are not colour to flesh out a Royal docudrama. They are lies aimed at falsely accusing public figures. Do they matter? Does truth matter? Anyone seeking to titillate the public with fabricated history plays with fire. Apologists for the latest £97 million season of The Crown argue that Royalty has long been the butt of satirical fiction.  It can take global ridicule for public entertainment in its stride. If Camilla suffers a vicious troll attack, she can handle it. Netflix’s latest...
The three-household limit on bubbles over the Christmas period may pose a challenge to the Queen's usual festive celebrations. For the last 33 years, the monarch, 94, has travelled up to Sandringham for the holidays, where she hosts close family members, after the Christmas party for extended family members at Buckingham Palace in December.  But this year, it is believed the Queen will not travel to Norfolk and instead will spend the holidays in Windsor, where she is currently isolating with Prince Philip, 99, after there was a revolt among workers at the estate because they refused to quarantine away from their own families. And earlier this week, Boris Johnson confirmed plans that just three households will be able to mix from December 23 to 27 and warned families they must make a 'personal judgement' about the risks of Covid-19 to vulnerable loved ones when forming a Christmas bubble. The news could...

Speaking to "Entertainment Tonight" about her time on the show, Richardson explained that she didn’t actually audition for the role of Jill but kind of stumbled into it when the producers got desperate.  "[The network said] we need to have someone that challenges him and is as much a feminist as he is a masculinist," Richardson recalled of the overtly masculine Tim Taylor character.  She remembered that, days before the show began filming, she was under contract with Disney for a different project that didn’t pan out. Meanwhile, “Home Improvement” was about to start and they still needed a wife character.  TIM ALLEN ON 'LAST MAN...

FDEAR MISS MANNERS: How much rude and boorish behavior should a host tolerate from a guest before saying something? We invited some family members over for dinner whom we had not socialized with in some time. They first asked if they could come at 5 p.m., their normal dinnertime; ours is more like 6:30. I offered what I considered a reasonable compromise of 5:30. They arrived at 5:15. They offered to bring appetizers, which turned out to be a store-bought container of cheese dip (and no crackers). Dinner was served buffet style, and we allowed the guests to go first. Under similar circumstances, my wife and I would have waited until everyone was seated before starting our meal, but they had no such standards. It also made it too awkward to practice our normal custom of saying grace before the meal. Related Articles Miss Manners: My dog is...

Around 6 a.m. on October 5, Diana Sevilla hopped into her car and headed for her gig as an accountant — one of two jobs she was working at the time — with perhaps a stop for a workout on the way. But she never made it to either destination. The 46-year-old single mom was on Interstate 225 when her Mazda SUV was struck by a Dodge Charger piloted by Iris Yurivia Rascon-Orona, a 21-year-old who investigators believe was drunk; toxicology reports are pending. Rascon-Orona was going in the wrong direction — south in the northbound lanes — when she crashed head-on into Sevilla's car. Today, Sevilla is hospitalized in a medically induced coma owing largely to a brain injury so severe that part of her skull had to be removed to accommodate swelling. She also has a range of other medical issues that will take months or longer to heal...

Even though it was Farrah Fawcett's funeral, her long-time boyfriend Ryan O'Neal was not so grief-stricken that he couldn't notice a pretty face among the fellow mourners waiting to offer their condolences. Grabbing the young blonde around the waist and pulling her towards him in an intimate embrace, the notorious Hollywood ladykiller whispered: 'Hey baby, got a drink on you? Want to get out of here?' She certainly didn't, for it was his daughter, Tatum O'Neal. Admittedly, by the time of Charlie's Angels star Fawcett's death in 2009, father and daughter had been estranged for nearly 25 years. But, as she wrote in her autobiography two years later, she was still taken aback. 'Was it possible that my own father did not recognise me? It had been a pretty long time.' Certainly it has been a long time since any family in the entertainment world has come close to challenging...

In the summer of 1983, the Los Angeles Times published a series on Southern California’s Latino community. It was produced by a team of Latino editors and writers assembled throughout the newsroom. Stories of success, struggle, art, politics, family, religion, culture, education, agriculture and history were written and published throughout the summer of 1983. In 1984 it won the Pulitzer Prize for public service. The idea for the project came after Black journalists at The Times did a series, called “Black L.A.: Looking at Diversity,” the year before, in 1982. Despite its accolades, the Latinos series never made its way to The Times’ digital archives. So, when the opportunity to bring it to life digitally for the first time came up, I was eager to be a part of the process. Before the project to bring it online, I had never read the series. I only heard about its impact...
