    SAGUACHE COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) – Investigators have identified human remains found in Saguache County on Friday. The Colorado Bureau of Investigation said the remains were of 39-year-old Jesus R. Silva of Mineral County. Hikers discovered the remains near an abandoned mine in the western part of the county. Investigators said the body may have been in the area for a year. The Saguache County Coroner conducted an autopsy to determine Silva’s cause of death. At this time, investigators do not suspect foul play but further toxicology testing is being conducted.

    Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s lead over President Donald Trump dropped two points in a national poll conducted by Rasmussen Reports immediately following the former vice presidents’s announcement of Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) as his running mate. The Rasmussen Reports poll released on Wednesday shows Biden with a four point lead in the national popular vote, 48 percent to 44 percent. The poll of 2,500 likely voters was conducted between August 12 and August 18, with no polling conducted on August 14 or August 15, and has a margin of error of two percent. (AP) — At least three dozen high school students in northern Illinois have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus after some attending summer sports camps showed symptoms of the disease. Investigations and contact tracing of the infections are tied to the camps held last week at Lake Zurich High School and multiple prior social gatherings, according to Lake County health officials. Health officials said health screenings were conducted at the start of the camps on July 6 and some students who showed symptoms were turned away. But other students experienced symptoms during the camps and were sent home. Health and school district officials met the next day and decided to close the camps.
