House’s silver:

A large boa constrictor and two dogs were rescued from a Silver Spring, Maryland, house fire early Tuesday that started because a heater was too close to dog bedding. Montgomery County firefighters responded to the basement fire in a single-family house in the 2800 block of Woodstock Avenue around 6:45 a.m. Tuesday, fire department spokesman Pete Piringer tweeted. Three of the home’s human residents — two adults and one child — escaped to safety without serious injury. Meanwhile, fire and rescue crews worked to assist two big dogs and a 5-foot boa constrictor. A missing cat was later located alive by an animal control team after the fire. Investigators blamed the fire on an electric space heater positioned too close to dog bedding in the home’s basement. The fire had no working smoke detector. Damage is estimated at $155,000, including the building and personal belongings. It took 50 firefighters to...
An antique shop owner in Canada discovered that a hoarder had been hiding a literal fortune in their home. Alex Archbold owns a store called Curiosity Inc. and runs a Youtube channel chronicling his work buying and selling for the business. He recently purchased the contents of a home that had belonged to a music teacher, though he was apparently unaware of what was hiding inside. Archbold didn’t know that Bette-Joan Rac was a hoarder until he bought the late music teacher’s home, The Sun reports. Allegedly, the antiquer only knew that the house contained a grand piano. NYC REALTOR SHOCKS TIKTOK USERS WITH 'WORST APARTMENT EVER' TOUR: 'NO WONDER NEW YORKERS ARE ANGRY' On YouTube, Archbold documented his journey of exploring the home, which mostly consisted of digging through piles of boxes and bags throughout. Some rooms were filled to the ceiling with containers, some of which held designer clothes, while others were full...
A MAN snapped a hoarder’s house for just a few thousand pounds, and was amazed to discover a treasure trove inside from rare coins to designer clothes.  Alex Archbold, who runs an antique store, Curiosity Inc, with his wife in Canada, bought the home of late music teacher, Bette-Joan Rac.  10Alex Archbold runs an antique store, Curiosity Inc, with his wife in Canada Credit: Curiosity Incorporated/Youtube Alex bought the entire contents of Madame Rac’s house for just £7,331 ($10,000), after she passed away last December.  The antiques dealer has been sharing the incredible finds he discovered in the house on his YouTube channel, estimating he’s found around £293,270 ($400,000) worth of stuff. Alex wasn’t exactly sure what he’d find inside her home, after knowing Madam Rac for a few years but never going inside, but took the gamble as he knew she at least had a grand piano. But when...
Franklin Graham, the evangelical preacher and ardent supporter of President Trump, compared the 10 Republican lawmakers who voted in favor of impeachment on Wednesday to Judas, who betrayed Jesus Christ. In a lengthy Facebook post, Graham lashed out at the 10 members of Congress who joined the Democrats to impeach the president a second time - the only time in US history that a sitting commander-in-chief was impeached twice. ‘Shame, shame on the ten Republicans who joined with Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats in impeaching President Trump yesterday,’ Graham wrote on Thursday. He then added: ‘It makes you wonder what the thirty pieces of silver were that Speaker Pelosi promised for this betrayal.’ According to the New Testament, Judas Iscariot, a disciple of Jesus, is said to have received 30 silver coins from the Pharisees in exchange for agreeing to hand him over before the Last Supper. ...
Protestant evangelist and missionary Franklin Graham expressed outrage Thursday with the 10 House Republicans who joined Democrats this week in voting to impeach President Trump for a second time – and claimed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi may have swayed them. "Shame, shame on the ten Republicans who joined with @SpeakerPelosi & the House Democrats in impeaching President Trump yesterday," Graham wrote. "After all that he has done for our country, you would turn your back & betray him so quickly? What was done yesterday only further divides our nation. In a separate post on Facebook, Graham developed the "betrayal" theme, likening the 10 Republicans to Judas Iscariot, the fallen disciple of Jesus Christ, whom the Bible says betrayed Christ in exchange for 30 pieces of silver. Vice President Mike Pence’s former top advisor on Homeland Security claims she witnessed first hand President Donald Trump’s callous and dismissive response to the Covid-19 pandemic, including a moment where he allegedly claimed there was a silver lining to the new, virus-based social distancing restrictions: “I don’t have to shake hands with these disgusting people.” The aide, Olivia Troye, left the White House last month, and was serving as Pence’s top aide on the Covid response from the beginning of the outbreak last winter. A lifelong Republican, she has now joined an anti-Trump political group and says she will be voting for Joe Biden in November. Troye’s reversal, she claims, stems from watching Trump dedicate his primary focus to his political re-election chances rather than the public health crisis, a phenomenon that others like Bob Woodward have documented as well. CNN’s Jake Tapper played several clips from a video that...
