    Thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, Sunday’s socially distanced Emmy Awards telecast won’t look anything like it usually does. And that could be a good thing. Late-night funny guy Jimmy Kimmel will host the event from Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles, but there will be no audience or traditional red-carpet festivities.
