Sometimes there is a difference between law and justice. On Wednesday, Kentucky Attorney General Dan Cameron announced that a police officer would be charged in the shooting incident that killed Breonna Taylor. But the officer who was charged is not one of the officers who shot at her. Former Detective Brett Hankison was charged with three counts of wanton endangerment for firing shots that entered a neighboring apartment where a couple and their five-year old child were sleeping. They were not physically harmed. Hankinson was fired from the Louisville Metro Police Department after the incident for violating policy that forbids shooting without a line of sight. He fired his weapon into a door and window that were covered with blinds....

Friday’s broadcast of The View went completely off the rails when a Black GOP congressional candidate brought up host Joy Behar’s infamous blackface photo, causing Behar to loudly deny she ever donned blackface as the panel devolved into a shoutfest. Klacik, who has become a conservative cause célèbre over her longshot bid to flip Baltimore’s congressional district to Republican, appeared on the ABC talk show to promote her campaign. And for the most part, things remained largely civil as she fielded questions during the multi-segment interview.  Towards the end of the conversation, however, things grew a bit more tense when co-host Sara Haines asked Klacik about President Donald Trump’s admission to journalist Bob Woodward that he purposely downplayed the threat...

When the Browns, who drafted Garrett No. 1 overall in 2017, face the Bengals on Thursday, his infamous attack will almost certainly be recounted by TV broadcasters. After all, the scrap with Pittsburgh took place on “Thursday Night Football” last season. Garrett served a lengthy suspension following the Browns-Steelers brawl. UFC: Brian Ortega Ready To Hit Chan Sung Jung In The Face By: Cay North September 2, 2020 ShareTweet0 SharesOne of the most interesting fights this coming October looks like the one that will feature Brian Ortega and Chan Sung Jung. It’s not a title fight or even a number one contender fight, but the mild case of bad blood in the runup to the bout paints an interesting picture of the fight between two fan favorites. Both could reasonably contend for the title within the next year or so, both have their own fanbases rooting for them to win, and the two camps already had a bit of an altercation which saw...

On April 28, 2016, an IT tech staffer for the Democratic National Committee named Yared Tamene made a sickening discovery: A notorious Russian hacker group known as Fancy Bear had penetrated a DNC server "at the heart of the network," as he would later tell the US Senate's Select Committee on Intelligence. By this point the intruders already had the ability, he said, to delete, alter, or steal data from the network at will. And somehow this breach had come as a terrible surprise—despite an FBI agent's warning to Tamene of potential Russian hacking over a series of phone calls that had begun fully nine months earlier. The FBI agent's warnings had "never used alarming language," Tamene would tell the...
